Odious Uplands, Art Update, Progress Report

Frost giant refugees displaced from their mountain fastness chat up an adventurer

The reverse-mohawk hairstyle seems to be a thing among the saber-toothed apes, a technological innovation previously unknown to these universally despised hominids. And whoever's been supplying them with weapons of steel will face summary execution if apprehended.
The giant coelacanth of Kraken lake do their best to keep the kraken population stable.
At 8' tall and full of slightly bewildered ferocity, the science fungoids have begun to roll out a new line of warrior-servitors, the giant Bardolph. The original Bardolph now regrets deeply his spur-of-the-moment decision to donate a tissue sample to a fungoid researcher at the beginning of his adventuring career.
So there's a sample of some of the new art I've (along with the estimable Stefan Poag) been doing for Odious as the project lurches toward layout. It's taking forever, I know, but will be a much stronger product in the end (which is in sight).
Progress report:
The original manuscript has been heavily revised (repeatedly) and is finally approaching layout. The final book will be significantly larger than originally anticipated, with illustrations numbering around 100.
As things currently stand, the pdf/book is still a small handful of months off, give or take, depending upon the schedules of those involved in final production.
We're working on the DCC conversion of Completely Unfathomable simultaneously, but it's appearance on the scene will necessarily follow the completion of Odious Uplands.
Don't barbecue me just yet!
I've been slow to do updates, as is obvious to all, but have resolved to keep them coming in a more timely fashion. For the next update I'll go into exactly what to expect from Odious, content-wise.

So,
Here's a link to a 58 page document loaded with all the stat blocks, spells, and patron information needed to launch a game of Operation Unfathomable using Goodman Games' Dungeon Crawl Classics rules system. Paul Wolfe did a fantastic job with the conversions, adding the details and flavor DCC judges expect.This material, supplemented with new character classes, full monster entries, and the requisite conversions for Odious Uplands will be presented as an organic whole in the DCC version of Completely Unfathomable.
All backers who are set to receive the Completely Unfathomable DCC compilation volume should be certain to check their emails (the address associated with OBS, don't forget to check the damn spam box) for a complimentary copy of the OU pdf.
We are working frantically towards bringing Odious Uplands to fruition (and following its completion, Completely Unfathomable), and will update soon with a progress report.
